His Frozen Heart Favorite Scene

His Frozen Heart – Favorite Scene

Without question, my favorite scene from His Frozen Heart was when Dave showed Candy his tattoo.

The scene starts out with Candy trying to help Dave take his shirt off while he desperately tries to keep it in place.  Candy worries briefly that she wants things to progress more quickly than he does when he confesses:  “So I was out on a date with a girl just after graduation.  We had both landed a couple fake ID’s and were wearing them out.  I was lit, so was she.  We thought it would be fun to go out and get tattoos.”

Candy immediately jumps to the conclusion that he has another woman’s name tattooed on his chest.  She couldn’t have been more wrong.

Dave sees her irritation and says, “I can tell from your reaction you’re going to see it and think it’s creepy.  So I’ll just do us both a favor and keep my shirt on.”

After enough coaxing, Candy finally convinces him to show her.  Her reaction was: As my eyes took in the tattoo on his chest, my mouth gaped.  Even after he had prepared me, I wasn’t prepared.  My breathing sped up and tingles spread from my head to my toes.  It wasn’t creepy.  It wasn’t even remotely offensive.  It was the most unexpected cartoon tattoo I had ever seen.

I won’t tell you what it was, I will only say that if you were in Candy’s situation in this scene, the tattoo would have melted your heart.

Tomorrow is the day, His Frozen Heart will be free beginning Thursday 11/5/2015 through 11/9/2015 on Amazon!  Get your copy tomorrow if you haven't gotten it yet!!

Happy Reading,
Nancy

My favorite scene from His Frozen Heart is when Candy kisses Mark instead of Dave outside the club! 😝 Honest mistake...lol

    1. Hi Amanda! Maaaaybe! The Alpha team is finishing up their read of Shroud of Lies now. It should be with my editor by Sunday. Fingers are crossed that I didn't miss tying up any loose ends! I think readers will be surprised (in a good way!) with the ending to this series.

Oh! That kiss was a fun one to write - especially when I got to share Mark's take on it in Fractured Karma. :D
